Patrice Johnson, affectionately known to family and friends as “Monk” and “BB”, was born on April 19, 1974 to the late Charles and Virginia Hunter at St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. On November 24, 2017, God dispatched an angel to bring His daughter home.

Patrice attended the Camden and Gloucester Township School Systems, where she participated actively in sports, especially track and field. She graduated from Highland Regional High School in Blackwood, New Jersey in 1992. Patrice went on to attend Kean University where she discovered her calling in life, helping others and became a Surgical Nurse. Upon graduation, Patrice worked at several prestigious hospitals and clinics such as Temple University, Emory University, the medical staff for the Atlanta Falcons and the University of North Carolina.

Patrice is known for her infectious smile, loving personality, her generosity and her love of our Lord and Saviour. Whenever in need, Patrice would do anything for anyone that she called friend. She would also give you the advice that you needed to hear, not necessarily what you wanted to hear; while always wanting the best for all of her friends and loved ones.

Anyone who knew Patrice could attest to her love of travel, fashion and her ability to organize anything from home closets to hospital supply rooms. Patrice leaves to cherish her precious memory; her loving husband, Randy Johnson; in-laws, Leroy and Amporn Johnson; five sisters; three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
