Latonya Yvette Hartsfield was born on July 24, 1981 to Joyce Hartsfield Lucas and the James Caldwell. The Lord, in His infinite Wisdom, decided that it was time to bring his daughter home to Him on February 3, 2018.

Latonya attended the Wake County Public schools where she played basketball at both Millbrook and Southeast High Schools. She called Lincoln Park Holiness Church her spiritual home, where in her earlier years, she sang with the choir.

Latonya worked at Dart Containment in Randleman, NC and attended Randolph Community College. Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved her grandchildren and was quick to pull out her pictures, so she could show you how proud she was of them. She also loved to cook, and she loved to watch Law & Order. She went out of her way to do for others, especially the elderly. She will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know her.

Latonya Yvette Hartsfieldleaves to cherish her loving memories; her daughter and son-in-law, Ayera Hartsfield Gray and Antonio Gray; two grandsons, Emanuel Gray and Zyheer Gray; mother and step-father, Joyce and Terry Lucas; grandfather, Hampton Bunch; one brother, Keith Whitaker; two uncles; six aunts; one great uncle; one great aunt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
